After Effects "Not Supported" on new Macbook Pro

Hello!

I'm a relatively new Adobe user and I'm just starting to learn with AE, however I've been editing on other programs for awhile now. Today I got a new 2024 Macbook Pro and I tried to open AE but it sent me this message. (See Attachment)

At first I had thought that it was because I still had AE 2024 but I just downloaded 2025 and it still says this. I saw there was an update in what systems could run AE but seeing as mine is new I'm confused how it couldn't run it.

Anyone run into a similar thing? Thanks!

If you need to install Rosetta and your Mac is new and using the latest OS, you have downloaded the wrong After Effects version. Use the Creative Cloud app to install AE. Everything should work out fine.

It is working now, but it might have been a glitch because I did download it from the Creative Cloud app.

Solve!

I needed to install Rosetta, something about the app being intel based. I know abosolutely nothing about computers, if that wasn't obvious already LOL.
