After Effects Old version

Hi everyone. I'm currently using Adobe After Effects 2022 on my macbook pro.
I find it (especially when the RAM preview) is so heavy and slow.

Do I need to downgrade to an older version of After Effects? Or does anyone know another solution? Thanks so much!

Without any specific info about the contents of your project(s), exact specs of your machine and things like preview settings, preferences for caches and multiframe rendering and all that we really can't tell you much. Could be perfectly normal based on what you used. Some functions and effects just are slow.
