After Effects Only Plays Back a Few Frames

hey folks. I don't know why, but after effects is only previewing a few frames. Even if i scrub through the sequense to render it, then press space bar, it only plays back that few frames. Can anyone help?

thanks for the reply. No i am not using any other plug ins. I just wanted to make sure it wasnt an issue on only my end.

Hi Christopher,

 

Could you share your system specifications (CPU, GPU, RAM, OS)? Also, can you try lowering the amount of RAM reserved for other apps in After Effects Preferences > Memory & performance?
