Question

After Effects rendered frames repeat

My After Effects recently got the bug that all rendered frames repeat. This means that if the video has rendered for example 100 frames then it runs up to the 100 frames and when it has arrived there then these 100 frames repeat all the time, so I can't watch a video in full length. I can get out of the 100 frame range but then the same thing happens again.
My PC is actually very good.
Also (I don't know if it's related to the other bug) the blue and green areas disappear every now and then just like that and the frames are no longer rendered. Maybe I just made a wrong setting.
Something is wrong with my disk cache I think.
I need help...

The first thing to ask you is if you are changing the speed of your composition layers. If you stretch the layers or precomped layers for changing their duration then AE can repeat frames (when speeding down your layers). Also you must check the frame rate of your composition or even the original footage. Maybe your footage has been recorded into a high frame rate and After Effects is not interpreting correctly your footage.

This is not the problem i have tested it and it is the same. It also has to do with my renders crashing I think. When I render something complex I just cant do this. Not with AE or AME. The error code is: -1609629695 in ame

Check your preview settings and look for "cache frames before playback" or somethink like this.
