You check for errors by selecting all layers, pressing 'uu' to reveal all modified properties, then start by turning off effects in the timeline. I'd start with motion tile. Then try another render. Sometimes all you have to do is change a parameter by a few digits. It is pretty easy to overwhelm resources with Motion Tile.

If that doesn't help show us the comp with the modified properties of all layers showing by embedding a screenshot using the toolbar. Do not use the Drag and drop here link at the bottom of the reply field. It is useless for images.

The first thing I would do is try rendering to something other than an H.26 for using QuickTime. That's never a reliable from the render queue.

The only thing in your screenshot is a pre-comp. We have no idea what effects are being used or what you're trying to do. It's very common for some effects to cause problems so what you should do is dig down through the pre-come and find out what exactly is happening at the time your render fails.

Also, in the future please embed your screenshots using the toolbar or just drag them into the reply field. Uploading them makes them pretty difficult to see.

I am using twitch, s_glow, s_edgersays, motion tile, and I think that's it. How do I check to see if they have an error? I am making an edit using these effects

You could try going into preferences/media and disk cache and cleaning them.

Also, double check that the video in the timeline looks clean and doesn't have any errors which may be causing the problem.

Good luck!

I've already tried to purge all memory and clean database and cache. The "empty cache" is gray so I can't click that. Also, how do I check for errors??
