After Effects shows items I have deleted! Not refreshing!

Hi I have the latest AE on MAC 2023 and recently I had some error messages popping up (don't remember exactly what was it) and then the troubles started - I delete a layer but AE is still showing it!!! I have to restart it to see the fresh scene. Help!

Also Illustrator stopped launching. What is going on?

PS - Ive purged All memory and cache numerous times.

I'm sorry about the issue. Could you share a screenshot of the error message here? Do you experience this issue with all projects? Apart from the layers not disappearing and Illustrator not launching, do you also experience any other issues? This information will help us better understand the problem.

Hi! It was Fix Internal Verification Failure Error - got it after I dropped some transitions from Envato to the project. The error disappeared but later if I've deleted a shape - it was still onscreen!!! Very weird. I had to reload project to see the fresh look.
