After Effects speed

After Effects speed performance is dropping.  Running AE 2023, Mac Studio M1 with 52GB ram allocated to AE.  Scrubbing through video has become virtually impossible even at 1/3 resolution.  Cannot upgrade to a higher version since plugins like Knoll Light factory and other industry standard effects cannot run or be installed...even with Rosetta.

    Knoll  Light Factory is a legacy product. I would not think it works with M1 CPU. It would be better to find something else like Boris FX Sapphire.
