After Effects Spitting The Dummy 0::42

Hi, with my After Effects exam in 4 weeks I am trying to install AE but keep getting the 0::42 notification when trying to open it directly or via GMetriX (exam program).

I can open it through a project but I need to access it by opening AE itself or GMetriX. Below are system and software details along with images of the notifications
