After Effects Start Screen Missing CC2017

Hi,

when i start AE, the Start Screen where i can open directly the recent projects or create by one click a new one disappeared suddenly.

I thought i have to view in the preferences the checkbox "show starscreen at Startup" and it´s got a checkmark.

But still no screen, when the app is starting?

Any Ideas?
