Question

After Effects Static Playback in macOS

I have just recently moved from a Windows laptop to a Macbook Pro and I've been having an issue I am unable to resolve when editing footage in after effects.

As you can see from the screenshot attached, I get this strange distorted static effect on pause and playback.  I am also encountering this same error in Premiere Pro when adjusting the Zoom level.

Please could anyone let me know a solution to this?

Thanks very much for the patch, its working great in after effects. However, the issue still seems to affect my work in Premiere Pro

Hi Chris,

Glad to know After Effects is working fine for you. Have you created any discussion for the same issue in Adobe Premiere Pro community?

Let us know.

Thanks,

Shivangi

Hi Chris,

Thanks for reaching out. I see that you are having preview issues with After Effects on your new Mac. Is it the new 16inch MacBook Pro? There is a reported issue on 16inch MacBook Pro with After Effects, which looks similar to yours. The After Effects engineering team is working on a fix.

Let us know, we're here to help.

Thanks,

NKush
