After Effects: step forward/back 10 frames in timeline, no way to change that setting???

In Premiere Pro, you have the option to "step/forward back" by any amount of "many frames" that you want, which is great. I can't find this setting in After Effects. Just wondering why that is. Since AE is dedicated to visual effects and animation, surely there must be a setting that allows you to change the default move forward/back 10 frames to whatever number you wish, like in Premiere??? If not, is there some third party plugin that allows you to change that setting? For anyone who works in 24fps and 12 fps projects, it would be ideal to be able to set the "move by many frames" number by say 24, or 12, or 8, or 4 frames.

I've made a Step - Forward Back script using buttons.

No, no and no. It's hard-coded.
