After Effects stucks after importing new font

At first, i know my english is may not good, I'm sorry about that. I imported the font "Headline Gothic ATF Rough No.2" and when i change anything about this font, after effect got freeze about several minutes. Then i could keep working on my project, until i change something on this font. All another fonts works without problems.

 

Are there some fonts in the Adobe Font they makes problems or something? I guess it can't be about my hardware (32 GB RAM for example) because the another things from After Effects works great.

Some fonts are just not friendly. It all depends on where you get them. Most of the fonts in the Adobe Type kit work very well with After Effects. It looks like your font comes from there so it may be one of the problem fonts. If I get time to check it on my system today I will and I will report back. Does the problem go away if you change the font to something elce? 

 

Some of my purchased designer fonts do not work at all. I have to take them into Illustrator and create outlines from the fonts to get them into After Effects.
