Question

After effects suddenly pops up a closing dialog but without cancel closing.

The normal quit dialog with a cancel button could be found in file tab but this one is really weird that AE must quit no matter what you choose.

I didn't find regular rules to make this happen again, it could came up anytime even AFK but not so frequent.

How to avoid this happening?

Does it appear on its own randomly? What are your system specifications (CPU, GPU, RAM, OS)? Also, what's the exact version of After Effects you're using: https://community.adobe.com/t5/after-effects-discussions/faq-how-to-find-the-exact-version-of-after-effects-you-re-using/td-p/9972137

I'd suggest resetting the preferences and see if that brings any change: https://community.adobe.com/t5/after-effects-discussions/faq-how-to-reset-trash-preferences-in-after-effects/td-p/10634342

Without any info about your computer, the projects you are working on and other stuff liek critical settings for caches, GPU acceleration and so on nobody can even guess. You have to be much, much more specific and provide the necessary information.
