After Effects Suspended then Crashing due to RAM overload

Hi, as the title says I have a problem with AE on Windows 10 overloading the RAM, then getting suspended and crashing.
This is happening during previews - I had it happen on all the previews - Wireframe, Fast Draft, Draft and Final Quality. Changing from full quality to quarter is only delaying the effect, as the RAM overflows sooner or later after either continuous preview playback, or consecutive previews without RAM purging.
Also, after the crash, when Adobe Crash Report window pops up, I can see AE still using more and more RAM, over the limit capped in the software (I had 15 GB RAM for AE, but Task Manager showed AE RAM usage over 18 GB).

No matter how little or how much RAM I allowed AE to have (I have 32 GB) it still ends the same.

Everything I have is brand new - I bought this computer a week ago, so the apps, including AE CC, drivers, windows etc are up to date. No problem with any other applications chugging RAM. My specs:

Windows 10 Pro 64-bit
GPU: GeoForce GTX760
32 GB RAM

CPU: i7-9700K

Two 500 GB SSD, one with system/soft and the other with projects/cache + 2x2TB for storage.

I installed AE 2017 and I do not have this problem there. The problem shows in many projects, not only one. As I know all I have to do to replicate the crash is let it run until the RAM fills and wait a few minutes I replicated it many times under different scenarios (no antivirus, no internet, no second monitor, CPU instead of GPU in Previews, fast draft vs draft etc). So far nothing solves the problem.

Also, I thought it may be one of my plugins so I purged everything. Did not help.

Another thought:
If I run the preview with the same parameters it crashes in exactly the same place, changing RAM or quality shifts the place, but you can replicate the crash point if you run it again.

I hope you guys or support can think of something to help because it sucks to have a brand new PC with this kind of problems.

Edit:
Run the comp with 0 GB cache vs 100 GB cache in the final quality preview and the project crashes in exactly the same place.
Installed AE 2018 - no problem there.
