After effects Team project invite not working

Question

Sent an invite to collaborator for AE team project. Invite arrives but nothing happens when they click it. It goes no where. Then it dissapears from the CC notification list. On mye nd it says this user has accepted but is offline. We then tested with XD. Sent an invite to collaborate and it works. They can acess and collaborate.  Whats the issue?  We both have an enterprise license with the same company.  Thanks

Without exact system info and other details we can't really tell you much. To me it sounds more like something on your end is filtering/ modifying the URL and then AE doesn't actually launch, so joining never gets properly confirmed.
