After Effects Tip of the Day

I posted this yesterday, but for some reason the post disappeared. So trying again…

I’m a subscriber to Creative Suite running the latest version of After Effects (25.6.4 Build 3) on Windows 11.

Has the option to disabled the “Tip of the Day” from displaying at After Effects first load been removed?

I’m not finding the option to disable that in the usual place Preferences > Startup & Repair. Screenshots attached.

😀 I do get your point, the tips themselves are pretty… “meh”, and that makes it worse if a good tip appears, by then you’ll have trained yourself not to read them.

Agree with the expert. After Effects doesn’t have the option to disable the feature in any version.

I think now it’s built into the “no comp” view there probably no way to disable it. But it doesn’t require being dismissed at least. As soon as you create a new comp it will be gone.
