I just started subscribing After Effects three weeks ago.  Since I am very new to this software, it is very important to know how to use it.  So, I tried to learn it through Tutorial and downloaded sample files.  After completion of downloading the files, I opened the files.  A message 'version 15.0 (windows 64) popped up.  I clicked OK since that was the only option.  The graphic files inside the sample files cannot be properly displayed on the screen and cannot be used for the tutorial.  What should I do?  I need the latest tutorial sample files.  My PC has windows 10 home version 1809 purchased in June 2019. The subscription fee has been charged to my credit card but I have not been using it since this technical issue. Thank you in advance.

Thanks for posting those screenshots. The first message is simply telling you that the file was made in an older version of After Effects and it will be converted for the version you're using—this is a very common message and there's nothing wrong with it.

The error you're seeing about missing files indicates that the footage isn't in the location the project expects it to be (because it was saved and organized on a different machine). Color bars are how After Effects indicates offline footage. All you need to do to fix this is find any one of the pieces of footage that's missing in the Project panel (you can go to the search bar at the top of the Project panel and type "missing"), then Right-click>Replace Footage>File. This will bring up the Windows system dialog box where you will then navigate to the location of the downloaded media, select the corresponding asset, and After Effects will relink it. If you didn't reorganize the rest of the downloaded files then it should also automatically relink the other assets.

Hi thank you for the messages.  Here are screen shots to show my problem below.  The same problems are happening when I download the files from this site.  Thank you for any suggestion to fix!

Could you please be more specific about which sample files you're using? What is the exact version of After Effects you're using? Also, please include screenshot to help us quickly troubleshoot your issue.
