Question

After Effects - Unable to import mp4 videos

Hi hope your doing well, so I have just taken a 360 video using the Theta Z1 camera and would like to import it into After Effects but I receive the error message: 'file cannot be imported - this vsni file is damaged or sunpported'.

I have included a screenshot of some file information below. 

Would appreciate any help with this.

This being a panoramic file, it is probably stuffed to the brim with metadata from the camera's sensors and optics which in theory would be used later for navigation and stitching. This may need to be stripped by running the clip through an external converter or whatever tools Ricoh may provide for dealing with their clips.

    Thanks for the quick reply. I don't suppose you know what exact software
    would do this to strip the data? Sorry I am quite new to all this.
