Sorry for the crash.

As Mylenium suggested, please share more details so that we can troubleshoot the issue properly:

  • What are your system specifications (CPU, GPU, RAM, OS version)?
  • What do you see when you launch After Effects? Could you share a screenshot?
  • Do you see any crash reports or error messages?

We're here to help, just need more info.

Hey there, Thanks,

Here's my system specifications:
iMac (Retina 5K, 27-inch, 2019)
macOS Catalina 10.15.7
3,6 GHz 8-Core Intel Core i9
64 GB 2667 MHz DDR4
Radeon Pro 580X 8 GB

 

After Effects opens normally, but then nothing happens.
If i try to import or open any project, it simply locks and freezes.
If i go to "About After Effects" it crashes.

Without even the most basic system information and of course ideally the actual details from the crash report nobody can tell you anything. You have to be much more specific.
