After Effects Warp Stabilizer not using available RAM
I'm using Warp Stabilizer on some long 4k60fps clips (~90sec) and it's only using a fraction of the installed RAM (15GB of 128GB installed). Since I've read in the documentation that Warp Stabilizer is actually an outside process, I've tried allocating 60GB to other applications in the memory settings, but this hasn't increased the overall RAM usage in my system.
How can I enable After Effects/Warp Stabilizer to take advantage of the installed RAM? Early today I ran some stabilization using the old "Stabilize Motion" in the tracker panel (with only 4GB allocated to outside applications), and it was humming along at 118GB RAM usage...
Are there other ways to speed up the Warp Stabilizer analysis step? My CPU is an Intel i9-9940X 14-core 3.3GHz, 128GB DDR4 RAM, with an NVIDIA Quadro RTX 4000 8GB graphics card (and I'm working from project files and operating system on a solid-state drive).
Any help would be hugely appreciated - I have about 12 clips to analyze and each one looks like it will take an hour with current memory settings.
Thank you!
