After Effects will not open

My computer was recently reimaged.  I downloaded the latest version of After Effects, and it will not open.  It starts to, but then it just goes away, no error or anything.

Sorry, but without so much as a hint of system information we cannot even guess. You need to be much more specific. That said, words like "reimaged" set off all sorts of alarm bells from operating systems not resetting security information and user permissions to critical system libraries, drivers and system updates having been missed in the process or being wrong versions. You may need to prepared to put in some extra work to sort this out.
