After Effects won't render as it is in preview !

Hi there.

I did many tests on this before posting but...

I have a clip, then I tracked the clip, and it doesn't matter what I use, tracking motion, mocha, tracking camera...

On the preview is fine, but when I render it it's not, the replacement object is out of sync with what I did.. I even re-installed the whole suite...

I don't know what to do.

Thanks guys.

What exact version number of After Effects?

What are your media properties, including file type and codec?

Where is your media from?

media :MP4 MPEG 4, file size 480MB, fps 24,02 ( could be that ? )
Video comes from Pixel 2 xl - filmic pro

Sounds like a problem with Filmic Pro -- it should be recording at a FIXED frame rate, but you info leads me to believe it isn't.

And AE does NOT like variable frame rate video (which phones shoot) in any way, shape or form... which is probably the root of your problem.

The fix: double check Filmic Pro's shooting frame rate, jump on its user forum or contact its customer service and re-shoot.  If you absolutely can't, use Handbrake to transcode to a fixed frame rate.  If there's lip-sync audio, it can get thrown off sync as a result of the transcoding.

Variable frame rate video stinks.  You were smart to use an app like filmic pro.  Too bad it's misbehaving.
