After effects wont read my video file after update.

Hello I just updated After Effects to CC 2018 15.1 and it no longer reads one of my movie files properly. All of of my other .mov files still work but this one particular one doesn't work it only displays audio. What would cause this? It worked before I updated.

I am on macOS Sierra.

TO ADD, Media Encoder can not read it either.

I reverted Media encoder back to 12.0.1, and I was able to convert it to an mp4. I think that particular quicktime file was 24 bit. Im guessing that was apart of the Legacy stuff in QT that got dropped in the April update? It works fine in Quick Time and VLC, and I tried converting it using QT and VLC however, that would break it by not match frame rate or video dimensions. This video was a screen recording from an app on a mobile device, so it couldn't be converted in Quicktime because that only does normal video dimensions in 16:9. VLC breaks the frame rate which messes with the timing my AE project, I'm pretty sure QT would have done the same.

It would be really great if someone can a let me know of a better conversion method than never updating my Encoder pass 12.0.1? Any other non Adobe converters that wont break frame rate or change videos dimensions?

That is what I was thinking but I couldn't find any info on it online.
