After I render my video, the effects I put on doesn't show up even though its still there in AE

Im using the Paint & Stick plugin to draw overtop of a video for the glowing scribble line effect. But when I render the final video, its just the video, no effects to be seen. If I go back into after effects, the effects are still there. Im putting a solid layer over the video, then putting the effect on the solid layer so im able to draw overtop of the video with the plugin. If someone knows the answer to this problem you would be a life saver. Spent $200 on this plugin and definitely dont want it to go to waste. Thanks!
