System details are:

MaOS Ventura 13.2

Processor: 3,8 GHz 8-Core Intel Core i7

Graphics: AMD Radeon Pro 5500 XT 8 GB

Memory: 8 GB 2667 MHz DDR4

Also, where can I speak/chat with real adobe support agent like it was before few months when I had a problem?

Your computer doesn't have enough memory to run After Effects smoothly. Check the system requirements here: https://helpx.adobe.com/after-effects/system-requirements.html

If you want to get in touch with Adobe chat support, follow this link: https://helpx.adobe.com/contact.html

Thanks,

Hi there,

Please share system details, as Rick mentioned. Your post has generic information, and it's not a known issue.

Meanwhile, here are a couple of steps that you can try to improve the performance:

  • Disable unnecessary layers: Layers that are turned off or not being used can slow down performance.
  • Reduce the size of your compositions: Larger compositions can also slow down performance. Try to keep your compositions as small as possible.

Thanks,

Rameez

System details, please. I'm on an M1 MacBook Pro most of the time and it's zippy as can be, but I am careful as can be.

This is a known issue. Since this sounds like an older Mac install AE 2022.
