After source footage updates not updating in After Effects project

Hi,

Facing issue with source footage updates.

After source footage updates not updating in After Effects. For example if I do some changes like added one layer with one new object in linked illustrator file, it not showing. And if I import again as individual layer that layer also not showing in After Effects. Yes, after close and reopen After Effects it is appearing. It is diffcult to reopen AE again and again after any footage updates.

Any solution?

After Effects version: 24.5 (Build 52)

System: Mac Book Pro

Chip: Apple M3 Max

macOS: Sonoma 14.5

Memory: 128 GB

Can you right click the footage in the project panel and click 'reload footage'?

Thanks for your suggesion! Yes, I have already done that. Facing this issue after shifted to my new laptop.
Just for your additional information. Facing similer kind of issue with Skype. Few minutes latter after opening skype, interface getting stucked. I am unable to do any msg or file share. Ony option is there close and reopen.
