AfterEffects dropping audio

I've edited a Zoom call in Premiere and picked that up in AfterEffects to do some work on it. Audio playback was fine yesterday and it rendered with all the correct audio. 

Today, I've gone into Premiere and made a small edit (so the sequence doesn't start with the host's eyes shut). The audio plays back there, yet when I went imported it into AE, there was no audio playback. Checked sound was on, my headphones weren't in etc, but no luck. I then noticed that the clip from Premiere doesn't have a waveform. I've deleted it out and imported it again but same issue. Any ideas? The audio is there in Prem so I don't understand why it's not being imported into AE 😕😕
