aftereffects preview error

Question

Mac M1. There is an aftereffects preview playback error. Whichever version you install, it plays fast. If you load a video and press the space bar to play it, it starts playing at double speed from a few days ago. Please tell me how to solve it.
And when I updated it, all the presets and plugins were deleted...

Check your preview settings and how the video is interpreted. This may just an missetting of fps.

Regarding the presets and plugins: they where not deleted, but AE creates a new folder and doesn't copy the content of the old install to the new one. Find "supporting files" of the old install and copy "plugins", "scripts" and "presets" to the new install.
