Allow scripts to write file and access network box is already checked but bodymovin failes

Hey guys, I've been using bodymoving for a while now. Usually for .json files.
Today I needed to export an animation as a rive project then tadaaa.

Bodymovin is asking me if I have enabled "Preferences > Scripting & Expressions > Allow Scripts to Write Files and Access Network? Well duh, I've been using you since I don't remember when?
And yes it's checked and enabled and whatevered.

I am using AE 23.5.0 anybody have this issue?

If it's not a permissions issue, as Dan suggested, have you tried to update Bodymovin? There hasn't been a new version in quite some time, but maybe you're on an older version with a bug.
