Alpha matte

Question

Hey recently i see a tutorial video which is about digital pixelated logo reveal but i have a doubt i use a square to reveal the logo by using alpha mat and the add turbulant displace and mosiac effect , then pre compose that layer and when i use a duplicate of that layer as alpha invert map the whole logo should be hide but the pixelated box are visiable why?

In general you'll want to provide screen shots of your layers for something like this. It is very difficult to troubleshoot a problem with just a very general description.
