Alternatives to Lens Blur with Blur Map

I have a video that is around a minute long. All layers have the lens blur effect with a blur map. I have tried to render it multiple times and it takes about 8 hours to render about 15 seconds before it freezes. Are there any other (faster) ways to have a  blur with a blur map? If not, are there any ways to speed it up? 8 hours feels a little wrong to render 15 seconds.

The video is 3440x1440 60fps

Here's my PC specs:

RTX 3060 ti

Ryzen 5 5600x

16 Gb ram

    You can use the Compound Blur effect. It works in a similar way but if you are looking for a realistic lens blur then this is not an option.
