AME File Import Error: Could not read from source.

Hi,

I know there are a LOT of discussing on this problem, and I’ve tried several of the suggestions, but none have helped.

I’m trying to export from AE to AME but it won’t work. Either it sits there and does nothing or Dynamic Link Connection fails and I get “File Import Error: Could not read from source.”

From AE I’ve tried File>Export>Add to AME Queu, as well as Composition> Add to AME Queu.

I’ve uninstalled AME, I’ve cleared the preferences, cleared cache, set memory reserved to 8 GB, etc.

I’m running Mac OS X 10.15.7, AE 22.0.0, AME22.0

I want to be able to export my animations from AE and import them into Premiere Pro 2022 to export to video that will mostly be viewed online. Does anyone have any suggestions?

It’s maddening that this issue has been going on for years now and is apparently still unresolved.
