Analysis solve failed - need Help!

I want to track my footage with the Track Camera tool.

1. The footage is set to composition.

2. There is no cut between two shots - its just one short shot.

3. And the shot is still, so no Motion Blur or other artefacts.

 

I also tried to pre-comp the footage but that didn´t help either..

The resolution is 1920 x 1080. Shot on a Sony FS5 in RAW.

I hope someone can help. Thank you!

This will never produce any valid 3D track simply because the tracker can't discern between the actual background and the many reflections plus of course the phone not being in a stable position, given that it's hand-held. Therefore don't waste your time and move on to mochaAE to create a simple planar track.

Is has nothing to do with the shot itself as I tried it with another shot with the exact same phone and almost same blury background and it worked perfectly. I tried it out with mocha and it kind of worked but it would be much easier with the camera tracker. What I want is to apply a solid/layer to the tracked path in the 3D room to that the layer is attached to the moving phone. Purpose is a hologram-screen on top of the phone-surface. But thanks for the info anyway!

I'd consider it merely lucky. Again, I don't think this will ever produce a valid 3D track. There's just not enough distinctiveness and also the spatial spread of any tracking points would not be large enough, given that everything is almost in a single focal plane. If it solves at all, it will still be jittery as hell.

Is it happening with any media file that you try to track? What are your system specifications (CPU, GPU, RAM, OS version) and the exact version of After Effects you're using?

Hi Nishu,

 

no it´s not happening with every file. I had another file from the same camera with the same specs and it worked. 

Processor: Intel Core i7-4790K CPU, 4.00GHz

RAM: 16GB

System: Windows 10

Version: Adobe After Effects 2020, I updatet the program few days ago.
