Anchor Point & Graphic Area

If you want to change the position of the anchor point you have to use the anchor pt tool [Y]. But changing the [X, Y] coordinates of the anchor pt in the timeline will not change the position of the anchor point in the graphic area. So that what is purpose of anchor pt coordinates in the timeline ? Video also attached.

    Shape layers have 2 transform areas.  One for the shape and one for the layer.  It might be you’re adjust the wrong anchor point.
