Animated 3d Geometric Shapes

I've checked that Cinema 4D Lite has the Displacement channel for materials included, so using a noise shader in this channel and changing the Speed animation in the shader options you can achieve a similar effect over a plane but the problem with the displacement channel is the you can't previw in the viewport. The complete version of C4D has the Displacer deformer included to do these kind of things in an easy way.

Anyway as Rick suggests you, an very easy option for doing this is Trapcode Form.

Not doable using C4D Lite that comes with AE. Pretty easy with Blender (http://blender.org). My first choice for a 3rd party app that will do the job: Trapcode Form
