Animating mask path

I make product videos where I need to highlight certain elements or parts of a car. In my current workflow I make a mask using MochFX, the use a simple stroke and fill effect. I can wiggle opacity, but there seems to be no way to add or replicate trim path effect. In stroke effect you can only animate start and end position of stroke.

So my questions are - is there a way to add trim path effect to a mask? Is there any other way to make nice looking effect in order to highlight a certain part of the product. Not using call-outs.
