Animating this image

Hello, i want to animate some aspects of this image using after effects, i would like to make this astronaunt possessed making fast movements like tilting his head like for a horror visual. I would appriciate any suggestion to creatively approach this, Thanks guys

On Feb 10 I responded to a question by jefinc (I think it might be you) that used the same photo. I explained in detail how to separate the image into layers and apply animations. Here's the thread: https://community.adobe.com/t5/after-effects/animating-photos/m-p/10915451?page=1#M103732

 

If you need to move the head, duplicate the layer and mask the top copy. You will have to use Photoshop or some other app to fill in the background if you move the head to the right or left because so the layers are going to require some work if the movements are large.

    Try with Puppet Tool but for best results you need to crop the edge and left just the siluet.
