Animation problem

<span;>Hi, can anyone help me with a problem I’m having animating in after effects.

<span;>Basically what I’m trying to do is make the keg move up off screen revealing the rum being poured into the mans glass.

<span;>I’ve made the animation and want to use the camera to follow the rum from the keg to the glass, however when I try and bring the man from outside of the frame to inside he disappears, I have no idea why! any ideas would be much appreciated.
