Annoyed by effect control

Evertime I copy effects to a diffrent clip all the effects are open in my effect control panel. 

I want them to be closed, always, After Effects doesn't need to choose for me to open them all. 

So is it possible that these effects in my effect control panel are always closed / minimized?

Hold down your Option (Alt) key while clicking one of the downward ">" to close it and all the menus will collapse and close. Do the same in reverse to open them all at once. I know that doesn't answer your specific question but it's a good tip that can help.
