I can't currently apply an animation preset from Bridge to After Effects. I get this message for each preset I try to apply to Type

Legend

This is a known issue. Applying presets via Bridge has been broken again since AE 2022. You have to use the Effects & Presets palette or the Animation menu.

Did you try and import? Animation Presets are applied by using the animation menu, not browsing to the file and dragging it to AE or double-clicking on it.
