applying font triggers crash

certain fonts seem to trigger a crash of after effects when they are applied to a text layer.

    After Effects has always been very sensitive to custom made or corrupt fonts. The fix is to look for a similar font or re-install the fonts on your system. If the font is extremely critical and it always crashes you may need to purchase another copy other version of the font from a different vendor or set the type in illustrator and converted to outlines.

    So glad to know that what Adobe considers to be "custom" is their own font provided via Adobe Font kit.
