Assigning keyboard shortcuts with the update

I'm just trying to assign my right arrow key to "go 1 frame forward" and my left arrow key to "go 1 frame back" but I have no idea how to do it with the new virtual keyboard shortcut tool. I can't find any tutorials on how to use it, and it's not very self explanatory. Any resources on how to use it?

Also, can Adobe STOP changing my assigned shortcuts back to the default settings every time it updates, please???

Go to Edit > Keyboard Shortcuts. Inside the window, click on the search field (red rectangle) to find the command you want to customize. Then, click over the Shortcut Column and type the new shortcut (yellow rectangle).

Also, you can save your keyboard layout using the Save as command located in the upper section of the Keyboard Shortcuts Window to restore every time you need it.
