"Can someone assist me with my audio-related issue? I've created an audio spectrum visualizer, and everything seems to be functioning correctly except for the audio playback. The audio either loops for 10 seconds indefinitely or plays with a distorted effect, like slowed down with reverb or sped up for a few seconds. My goal is to have the audio play smoothly throughout the entire song without experiencing any of these problems. I would greatly appreciate it if someone could provide some guidance or help me troubleshoot this issue."

If your song is longer than a few seconds and you are previewing at full resolution without skipping frames, you will probably not get a real-time preview of the entire song. Try setting the Comp Magnification to about 25% and the Comp Resolution to Auto. If you still can't get a full-length preview, try skipping some frames in the Preview Panel.

The best option would be to ram preview a couple of seconds at different points in the timeline, then render the entire comp and check it there.

After Effects is not a video editing app; it must render and store every pixel on every layer in memory before you get smooth playback. If a comp is at all complicated or the frame size is large, you won't get a very long preview.
