Audio issues

My audio in after effects sounds fine in the preview but once its exported its sounds as though its been extremely bass boosted and mashed together . i have tired a few different things suggested by people on these forums but none have seemed to work. I have adobe after effects 2022 on the Imac pro 2017 - macOS monterey.  idk how i can showcase the problem either for somone to be able to help me
