Audio of clip

Hello. I am so frustrated right now, I was working on an AE project and the audio of a clip that I have sounds like some kind of typing, it's really weird. I don't know what happened to the original sound of my clip.  I hope someone had this problem before and can help me.

    Is the audio slowed down? Do you have the info window open? (Which will tell you the speed the comp is being played back. AE will/can slow down audio to try to keep it in sync)

    It might be that the audio file is compressed in a format AE cannot use. You can expand the waveform on the timeline and see what's there.  That might give you a clue too.

    Without any system info and exact details about your composition, audio settings, preview settings and specs of the source file nobody can tell you much. This could be any number of things and may not even affect final output because it's merely a problem with your audio hardware...
