Autoscroll in Project Panel

Question

In the Project Panel, when I have a larger Project with lots of folders and importet graphics, always when I rename a folder or a graphic it automatically "scrolls" down (without animation - just a jump) -> so the folder or graphic I renamed is at the very bottom.

Is there a setting to remove this? Because to keep an overview with similary named files it would help if it would stay at the same position.

You can change the column that does the sorting. The default is the name column. Look for the little triangle in the right corner of the column name. You can right-click at the top of the Name column and choose which properties are available. In this screenshot, the Project panel is sorted by Type, and you can see the column options:
