Banding with pre comps After effects 23.3

Dear all.
my master edit contains precomps. Inside these precomps the composition has no banding. But in my master edit these precomps has banding. Both comp settings are similar. The comps in the master edit have no extra grading or whatever plug in. Both 16 or 32 BPC is not the solution

What could possibly cause these bandings?

Banding can be caused by the color depth of your display, 8-bit source footage, 8-bit comps, 8-bit compression, especially H. 264, and a few other things.

We have no way to tell what is causing your problem without seeing your comp with the modified properties of the problem layers, knowing the comp settings, knowing your system specifications, and knowing what kind of monitor you are using.

Hey Rick,
The usual suspects of banding are tackled ofcourse. the case is that the composite shows no banding. Banding appears when i precomp this composite. Both comp settings are the same.
sourcematerial: 10 bit
project bit depth: 16 or 32 bit

Hey rick.. I found out that a white solid (mist 3 layer) is causing the banding.. It looks like a bug because this shouldn't happen concerning the settings
