Question

Basic Fast Forward icon animation (AE)

I'm new to After Effects and would like to animate an element in the same way as the GIF below. Any suggestions on how I can get started? (what tools should I use, besides position and opacity mapping?)

Here's a Youtube video that covers the basics of animation in After Effects: https://adobe.ly/46PgAK3

    Hope it helps.

    Thanks,
