Blending modes across different compositions in After Effects

Hi evreyone,

I wanted to ask if there's a way to keep a blending mood on in one composition when adding it to a new composition.

That's what the continuous rasterize/ collapse transformations layer switch is for. It works as a pass-through switch even for conventional 2D layers, but this useful, mostly forgotten function is typically drowned out bey everyone raving on about 3D or vector-based comps and the uses of this switch there. Just be aware that the limitations still apply, though. Things like masks and such may render differently and you may need to restructure your project.
