Blur effect not found

Hi guys, good afternoon, I wanted to know what to do when a base effect is removed from after effects? I went to open after effects, and the notification appears that the effect cannot be found, and I wanted to know what to do.

An effect named "Blur" is not part of the default set of effects that come with AE. All of my other blur filters have something else in the name. 

 

I would just search for the missing effect and then replace the old Blur effect with something like Gaussian blur and fiddle with the knobs until you get something that looks good.
